9. R.I.P. The fluidity of XCI’s gameplay was a pleasant surprise, welcoming me to a familiar yet strangely polished world. The revolution in photography was evident from the start: softer light, greater detail, and warmer temperatures. The game is entirely based on a post-apocalyptic setting, where every corridor and dungeon offers a healthy dose of terror and colorful humor. In short, it’s not a happy place, but it’s fascinating in its own way, rich and captivating.

About the game: The story is short, rhythmic at times, and almost objective-driven, unlike the game’s progression. Competition creates a dynamic balance between power and order. The weapons are like scorpions; every shootout has a satisfying level of difficulty, and stealth missions have real consequences. The hostile AI is cruel but unfair: the hackers think they deserve it; it’s not easy. Physical exercise is a good stress reliever.

1. Download the ROM file from a mirror above.
2. On console: copy the NSP/XCI to your SD card and install with a homebrew installer.
3. On PC: open Yuzu or Ryujinx, add the game directory, then launch the game.
