I Hate This Place NSP

I Hate This Place never received a warm reception from gaming magazines. The main difference lies in the fact that, after a relatively slow start where resource scarcity is a problem, the game begins to draw inspiration from titles like Don’t Starve Beyond Spencer Mansion, presenting the player with a very complex survival challenge. This impressive combination makes playing Resident Evil mode extremely entertaining, resulting in a merely acceptable mix without any special situational features.

About the game: The game manages to encompass almost the entire area surrounding the family farm. For the player, there is no clear “main mission” that tells them exactly where to go. Instead, they must find and help the other inhabitants of this cursed land, including an armed priest and a cult that worships the Horned Man. This open structure is liberating because it encourages development as clues are revealed to unravel the mystery.
