Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Hinokami Chronicles is an action-adventure game where combat and story complement each other. Combining them effectively is difficult, probably because it’s hard to tell a good story when the primary form of communication is two characters exchanging blows. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: The Hinokami Chronicles is no exception, as the single-player mode never quite strikes the perfect balance between telling a good story and making it entertaining.

About the game: Hinokami Chronicles follows the same plot as the manga and anime it’s based on, starting from the beginning and continuing up to the Infinity Train arc. If you’re unfamiliar with Demon Slayer, the game follows Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado after their family is killed by demons and Nezuko is transformed into one herself. It depicts the pair’s quest for revenge and their attempt to return Nezuko to her human form.

2. On console: copy the NSP/XCI to your SD card and install with a homebrew installer.
3. On PC: open Yuzu or Ryujinx, add the game directory, then launch the game.
