Xenoblade Chronicles X – Definitive edition NSP

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is an action-adventure game that seemed like a surefire hit a few years ago, when we were eagerly awaiting its remastered version, given the popularity of other remasters in the franchise. Naturally, we were keen to try this new version of the author’s favorite game. For this preview, we’ll limit ourselves to discussing the first four chapters and, well, all the minor changes you should already be aware of if you haven’t played enough. In these first four chapters, you’ll learn about the game’s world.

In short: As you improve your combat skills, which eventually overlap with the requirements for controlling a Skell, the game introduces some truly cool mechanics. And right from the start, the improved interface and menus are noticeable, as choosing between abilities in the early chapters is now much easier, without requiring constant visual effort. This particular game stands out from the rest of the series by leaning more towards science fiction than the usual fantasy JRPG clichés.

1. Download the ROM file from a mirror above.
2. On console: copy the NSP/XCI to your SD card and install with a homebrew installer.
3. On PC: open Yuzu or Ryujinx, add the game directory, then launch the game.
4. Apply the included update/DLC for the full experience and enjoy!
