About Pokémon Brilliant Diamond NSP

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond is an action-adventure game. In late 2006, I took a train to Tokyo, just a few stops away, to buy a copy of Pokémon Pearl, which was released that same day in Japan. In the following months, I spent hundreds of hours in the Sindh region, completely immersed in the new online community. Of course, it has held a special place in my heart ever since: the first generation I played entirely in Japanese, and one that has the power to transport me back to some of the most cherished moments of my life. Since then, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl haven’t received much attention, much to my disappointment.

Game Information:

Of course, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl are full of cool elements from the Nintendo DS era, as they are remakes. It’s possible to raise a puffin using the touch screen. Poké Balls—a game item that previously appeared on the DS’s second screen—will now be located in the top corner of the Switch’s screen, if you prefer, so you can easily see your Pokémon’s friendship levels or find items. At the time, the DS’s touchscreen was a novel concept, and many of the remake’s features evoke that era in some way, from the Super Tournament mode to the ability to place stickers on Poké Balls. Even the random toilet-polishing mechanic is back.
